Lewis EB Brakes for EMTB & Emotorcycle

Lewis EB Brakes for EMTB & Emotorcycle

With the continuous expansion of the e-bikes market, the update and iteration of e-bikes models are also accelerating. Traditional bicycle brake systems can no longer meet the requirements of new electric bicycles. Riders demand brake systems that are more flexible, have stronger braking power, better heat dissipation, and are aesthetically pleasing. In the electric off-road motorcycle market, there has also been a lack of perfect brake adaptations, with some bikes weighing up to 80kg still using plastic bicycle brake systems.

In response to this pain point, Lewis has established a specialized research group to provide the perfect solution for the electric power-assisted market. Although Lewis is a new brand, it has been committed to innovating the technology in the bicycle industry.

The latest Lewis EB brake system, designed for heavy-duty downhill bikes, ebikes, and electric off-road motorcycles, is the result of collecting feedback from many ebikes riders and continually innovating. The EB brake is made with 7075CNC processing and uses Lewis EP+ series exclusive brake levers, specially calibrated for ebikes.

With clear braking feedback and powerful braking force, the compact design also provides an excellent braking experience. The EP+ brake system features a downward brake lever design to compensate for brake wear in E-bike models, effectively extending the brake maintenance period. The universal design for both left and right hands makes installation more convenient and reasonable.

The high-strength 4-piston caliper with a large 20-21mm piston design provides ultra-strong braking power. The one-piece caliper design, under high-pressure oil conditions, minimizes caliper deformation and ensures more stable braking performance with stronger heat dissipation, alleviating all concerns regarding braking performance. The pistons are equipped with TITAN ceramic heat insulation layers for a more stable braking performance. The calipers come with built-in heat fins to effectively improve long-term braking performance. The EB 20-21 ebikes specialized brake levers, combined with the large-size integrated calipers, create a more robust and versatile braking sensation.
